Basic hydrology concepts such as ground water, surface water, the water cycle and water contamination will be taught using a ground water model. Participants will learn about how kettle hole ponds compare to other ponds using constructed ponds made out of sand and clay. A demonstration of water quality using parameters such as PH, ammonia, nitrate, phosphate, dissolved oxygen, temperature, and others will be presented during this program.

All Programs are free and open to the public. There is a parking fee of $5 for Massachusetts residents and $8 for out of state residents.  An adult must accompany children.  Reasonable accommodations available upon request.
